Capital Project

The East Greenbush CSD has proposed a $116 million capital project that, if approved by voters, would improve facilities and grounds at all seven schools at no additional cost to the local taxpayer. The proposed capital project will be a proposition on the School Budget Vote and Board Election ballot scheduled for Tuesday, May 21, 2024.

20150313-2014-education-foundation-gala-performanceThe East Greenbush Education Foundation will induct four people into the Columbia High School Hall of Fame at its annual gala on Friday from 6-9 p.m. at the Hilton Garden Inn in Troy, N.Y.

Three alumni – Dr. James Baldwin ’72, Andria (Obermayer) Hanley ’84 and Andrea Neiman ’01 – and community member Burke Adams will be honored at the popular springtime event.

“These inductees are people who have spent a great deal of their lives in service to others,” said Education Foundation President Steve Taylor. “We are very excited that we have the opportunity to honor these people for their leadership and compassion for others.”

All proceeds from the gala go towards providing summer enrichment grants for East Greenbush Central School District students. This presents opportunities for our students to attend camps and enrichment programs they may not be able to afford otherwise.
