Capital Project

The East Greenbush CSD has proposed a $116 million capital project that, if approved by voters, would improve facilities and grounds at all seven schools at no additional cost to the local taxpayer. The proposed capital project will be a proposition on the School Budget Vote and Board Election ballot scheduled for Tuesday, May 21, 2024.

Jillian Leggiero Named Outstanding Business Education Student

20160510-Jillian-LeggieroJillian Leggiero has been named Columbia High School’s 2015-2016 Outstanding Business Education Student by the Business Education Department. This honor was awarded to Leggiero not only for academic achievement in business classes but also for her outstanding citizenship and positive attitude.

Leggiero has taken the following business courses:

  • Entrepreneurship
  • Microsoft Word
  • Microsoft Office Suite (HVCC college credit)
  • Career and Financial Management

Leggiero, her parents and Columbia teachers Donna Shepardson and Katrina Gruet attended the awards dinner on May 5, which was sponsored by the Business and Marketing Educators’ Association of the Capital District.
