Bell Top Elementary students competed in a number of track and field events at their annual Field Day on Tuesday. Students in grades 2-5 chose to run in the 50, 100 or 300 meter races. They also chose one field event, which included running long jump, high jump, vertical jump, standing long jump, softball throw, 30-second basketball shot, one-minute jump rope and one-minute sit ups.
Four of the fastest students in each class (grades 3-5) ran the 100m relay and all students participated in the tug-of-war (class against class) with their age group.
Field Day culminated with fourth grader Cameron Mingle winning the Coaches Cup race (300m) with a time of 53.7 seconds.
