Red Mill Regeneron experiment in Brownell classThe East Greenbush Central School District is ranked 8th in the Albany Business Review’s 2016 Schools Report rankings. The annual report covers all 92 school districts in the 11-county Capital Region based on state test results and graduation rates from the New York State Education Department.

East Greenbush CSD has ranked in the top 10 each of the past seven years.

In addition to the overall rankings, districts were scored by subject area. East Greenbush CSD ranked 5th in Math and 9th in English.

East Greenbush elementary schools shined in the report as they all placed in the top 50. Bell Top (5th) and Red Mill (9th) both placed in the top 10, and Green Meadow improved from 43rd last year to 11th this year.

Columbia was ranked 9th among all Capital Region high schools based on test scores, SAT scores and graduation rates.
