Capital Project

The East Greenbush CSD has proposed a $116 million capital project that, if approved by voters, would improve facilities and grounds at all seven schools at no additional cost to the local taxpayer. The proposed capital project will be a proposition on the School Budget Vote and Board Election ballot scheduled for Tuesday, May 21, 2024.

Athletics to Host BBQ Dinner and Meet the Coaches Night

Columbia High SchoolColumbia Athletics will be hosting a Welcome Back Chicken BBQ on Monday, August 29 from 4-7 p.m. at the high school prior to Meet the Coaches Night for fall sports.

Each dinner costs $10 and includes a ½ chicken, baked potato with butter and sour cream, coleslaw, a dinner roll, dessert and a beverage.

Dinner is open to anyone in the community for dine-in under a tent near the turf field or curbside pick-up outside the school. Reservations, which are highly recommended, can be made by contacting the Athletic Department at SchweiJe@egcsd.org by Friday, August 26. Columbia sportswear will also be for sale.

After dinner, student athletes and their parents will have the opportunity to meet coaches of fall sports at 7 p.m. in the auditorium. This is a mandatory meeting for student athletes participating in a fall sport and their parents so they can meet our coaches, talk about expectations and promote cooperative community action.
