Incoming 6th graders are ready for the new school year after attending Orientation on Wednesday morning and Locker Night on Thursday evening at Howard L. Goff Middle School.
At Orientation, students were introduced to school administrators, learned about rules and expectations and toured the building before enjoying a picnic lunch.
“We want to make Goff the best school possible, and we can’t do it without you,” said Principal Wayne Grignon.
At Locker Night, students practiced opening their lockers, decorated their lockers and walked their schedules with family members. The students also learned about available clubs and activities from 7th and 8th graders.
