Bell Top students tried their hand at sport stacking, a competitive sport that involves stacking plastic cups in the shortest possible amount of time. National champion Kailey Diedrick gave a presentation to each grade during their physical education class on Thursday, and then led the students in various interactive games.
Sport stacking utilized many of the skills students have been developing in PE class, such as hand-eye coordination, locomotor skills and working in teams.
“Kailey was an awesome performer of speed in the sport and a highly effective teacher!” said Physical Education teacher Karen Longworth. “The students were thrilled and amazed!”
