Capital Project

The East Greenbush CSD has proposed a $116 million capital project that, if approved by voters, would improve facilities and grounds at all seven schools at no additional cost to the local taxpayer. The proposed capital project will be a proposition on the School Budget Vote and Board Election ballot scheduled for Tuesday, May 21, 2024.

Devyn Jenks, right, and Bella Besuud won 1st and 2nd place, respectively, in the middle school division of the Rensselaer County School Music Association Scholarship Competition.

Goff students Devyn Jenks and Bella Besuud won 1st and 2nd place, respectively, in the middle school division of the Rensselaer County School Music Association Scholarship Competition.

Ms. Jenks performed the Suite Modale for flute by Ernest Bloch and will receive a $300 scholarship to supplement her musical studies. She will once again be attending the Crane Youth Music summer camp in July at the Crane School of Music in Potsdam, N.Y.

Ms. Besuud performed the Prelude and Fugue in d minor for piano by Johann Sebastian Bach, and will receive a $150 scholarship. She is working towards completing the very rigorous ABRSM piano exams, which includes performing major piano works, sight reading, aural tests, music theory, composition and analysis.
