Dear Parents,
Thursday, June 8 is the date for Red Mill’s Annual Field Day. (Rain date is: June 12)
Because we feel that “school spirit” is an important part of your child’s elementary school experience, we are again designating this day as Red and White Day at Red Mill. In keeping with our school colors, we are asking all children and staff to dress appropriately in these colors.
Since many parents are unable to spend the entire day with us, we will schedule the events by grade level along the following time blocks:
Grade 4 9:30-10:30
Grade 5 10:35-11:35
Grade 1 11:40-12:30
Grade 2 1:10- 2:00
Grade 3 2:00- 3:00
Coaches Cup 3:10- 3:15
Kindergarten Field Day is scheduled separately on Friday, June 9 beginning at 9:30 a.m. in our upstairs gymnasium and concluding on our outdoor track.
The lunch schedule for Thursday, June 8 will remain the same except all 2nd grade classes will have lunch from 11:15 – 11:55 a.m.
Please feel free to come and spend the day. You may want to bring a lawn chair and please feel free to take pictures of your athletes!
