Students in Goff science teacher Marian Roohan’s class visited MiSci (Museum of Innovation and Science) in Schenectady recently to take a simulator mission into space. Each student filled a role as they collaborated to complete the mission and rendezvous with a comet.
“They had a first-hand experience of what it would be like to experience being in Mission Control and on the International Space Center doing experiments!” Mrs. Roohan said.
Later in the week, students examined lunar samples on loan from NASA’s Johnson Space Center.
