Columbia High School Jazz Band
Columbia’s Jazz Band and String Quintet both performed at the State Employee Recognition Ceremony last week at the State Education Building in Albany. The ceremony honored 105 employees who have worked for the state for 20, 25 and 30+ years.
Columbia High School String Quintet
The jazz band performed music for the ceremony and the string quintet performed during the reception. After the groups’ performances, the students were given a tour of the historic Education Building.
Columbia’s musicians also played this event in 2015.
