Capital Project

The East Greenbush CSD has proposed a $116 million capital project that, if approved by voters, would improve facilities and grounds at all seven schools at no additional cost to the local taxpayer. The proposed capital project will be a proposition on the School Budget Vote and Board Election ballot scheduled for Tuesday, May 21, 2024.

Students and Teachers Spread the Love on Valentine’s Day

Goff students hold Valentine's Day cardsHundreds of local seniors will receive some extra love today thanks to students and teachers from the East Greenbush Central School District.

The students and teachers created homemade Valentine’s Day cards which will be brought by teachers to nursing homes and senior centers. Cards were also given to the Rensselaer County Department for the Aging to be packed in meal deliveries to the homebound.

“This is an annual event that everyone gets behind to show our senior population that we care about them,” said Goff Science teacher David Greene.

The East Greenbush Teachers Association organized the community service initiative.
