The 6th Grade Field Trip to Nature’s Classroom in Silver Bay, N.Y. will be held on Wednesday, May 9 (Team 6-1) and Thursday, May 10 (Team 6-2). Buses will depart Goff Middle School PROMPTLY at 8:00 a.m. and arrive back at school at 5:30 p.m.
Parents should arrive at Goff at 5:15 p.m. for pick-up. Please do not park in the front of the building as the buses will pull up there to unload students.
Equipment List:
- Students must bring a lunch with them for the day. Students may bring snacks and drinks for the bus ride down and back.
- Water Bottles — bring multiple bottles for the day and ride home
- Check the forecast, dress accordingly and be prepared!
- Sneakers are a MUST
- NO flip flops or sandals of any kind
- Sunscreen
- Insect repellent (NO aerosols please)
- Cinch sack or small backpack to carry your water, etc.
- CELL PHONES AND/OR APPLE WATCHES ARE NOT PERMITTED DURING THE FIELD TRIP
- Electronic devices can be used on the bus, but must be left on the bus during the day. Goff Middle School and/or Nature’s Classroom is not responsible for the loss of any device.
If students did not sign-up to go on the field trip, they will be having instructional time at school on both days.
