The East Greenbush Central School District Transportation Department goes to great effort to accommodate students by providing excellent service with often minimal distance to the bus stop.
Making sure that students are outside on time and standing where they can be seen improves the efficiency of our bus routes and makes the job of the driver much easier.
As the cooler weather approaches, please be mindful of school policies regarding school bus transportation:
- Students should be outside five minutes before their scheduled pickup times.
- Students should not wait inside the house or garage, on the front porch or standing inside the front door. Even in inclement weather, students should be waiting for their bus outside.
- Students should stand approximately 15 feet back from the road and should be visible to the bus driver.
