Donald P. Sutherland Elementary School will once again be offering its Backpack Program to children who may be at-risk for needing meal support during the weekends or extended school breaks.
It is expected that the first round of weekend backpacks filled with breakfast, lunch and snack meals will be sent home with students in November.
We are so appreciative of the students, families, staff and community members who helped to make the program a success last year by keeping our pantry well stocked and organized.
In an effort to assess each family’s need and desire to participate in this program, please complete the form and return it to School Social Worker Tiffany Rinehimer by October 12. These forms and your participation will remain confidential among the staff members that make up the DPS Backpack Program committee.
