Goff Middle School is hosting an Activity Night for 7th and 8th graders on Friday, November 9 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. The cost to each student is $5.00.
Wristbands are used for entry instead of tickets. The price of the wristband is $5.00 and will be sold only on Friday during your child’s lunch period. In order to purchase a wristband, your child must have a signed permission slip and no significant discipline referrals to the office. Permission slips will be given out in school but are also available here. Students must bring the signed permission slip with them on Friday. When your child purchases a wristband, it will be placed on their wrist. When they enter the Activity Night, the wristband will be removed by a chaperone. Wristbands will not be sold at the door. Refreshments may be purchased. Please send your child in with small bills.
The Goff Activity Night will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. in the Goff cafeteria and gym. Students should be dropped off between 6:00 and 6:15 p.m. Any student entering after 6:00 p.m. MUST have their parents escort them to the door. No students should be brought to the Activity Night before 6:00 p.m. Each student is expected to remain the entire time until 8:00 p.m. At the end of the announced time, parents are responsible for providing transportation home from the school. Students may not walk home.
We are interested in making this event enjoyable for your children. In order to help us, please review the permission slip guidelines with your child. Any student who does not follow the Guidelines for Student Behavior, or is disorderly, will be expelled from the Activity Night. A parent will be contacted to provide immediate transportation home.
We hope you share our expectations of your child’s behavior while at the Goff Activity Night. Please sign and return the permission slip to school in order for your child to purchase a wristband.
