Congratulations to Columbia High School monitor Bill Clum who received the East Greenbush Central School District Lifesaving Award at Wednesday evening’s Board of Education meeting!

Mr. Clum, who has worked for the district since 1988, saved a student from choking in the cafeteria last month by using the Heimlich maneuver. He displayed courage and poise during that emergency situation to ensure the safety of the student.
