Columbia Boys' Varsity Bowling team with Sectional Championship patchesThe Columbia boys’ varsity bowling team rolled its way to its first ever Section 2 Class A Championship on Thursday at Boulevard Bowl in Schenectady. The Blue Devils won the tournament by knocking down 6,207 pins, more than 300 pins better than runner-up Colonie.

The Blue Devils team includes: Tyler Bogholtz, Zach Bogholtz, Henry Dreisenstock, Kyle Fortin, Bailey Grugan, Jason Hahn (highest triple for the day), Ryan Lemay and Thomas Stein. They are coached by Bill Neumann.

Columbia advances to the New York State Championship scheduled for next month in Syracuse.
