Goff Middle School students, staff and families came together to raise $1,300 for Red Nose Day on May 23 to help end childhood poverty.
Red Nose Day is an annual fundraising event that raises money and awareness to help end child poverty, both in America and in some of the poorest communities around the world.
Principal Wayne Grignon created an incentive for students and colleagues by pledging to shave his head if the school reached $1,000 in donations. True to his word, he had his head shaved on Tuesday by English teacher Sean Crall.
