Union members from the East Greenbush Teachers Association and School-Related Personnel at the Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk in Albany’s Washington Park.
Union members from the East Greenbush Teachers Association and School-Related Personnel came together to raise $1,309.00 for breast cancer awareness by participating in the Making Strides Against Breast Cancer walk in Albany this past weekend.
“As a brother of a breast cancer survivor I was extremely impressed and proud of our Unions for raising such a large amount of money and for participating in this event,” said Columbia Social Studies teacher and EGTA member Dan Wagner. “We have several members who have faced breast cancer and for our union brothers and sisters to show such strong support is truly encouraging.”
