Once Upon a StageColumbia High School’s annual cabaret show Once Upon a Stage raised more than $3,800 for the Dana-Farber Institute and the Jimmy Fund in memory of Sean Jucha, as well as collecting a multitude of items for the Mohawk Hudson Humane Society this past weekend.

Students create and run every aspect of the show, which was directed by Kelsey Hall ’17 and Kelsey O’Brien ’17 and choreographed by Anna Sesonske ’17.

“The many talents of Columbia’s students were on full display, culminating in a fabulous performance by the entire group,” said club advisor Kara Macpherson.

Thank you to the parents and community members who donated their time and efforts ranging from program and t-shirt design, to ticket and concession sales, to moving and running the sound system.

Special thanks to SYFI for allowing the use of their sound system. The success of Once Upon a Stage would not have been possible without all this support. It truly is a community event!
