Columbia High School celebrated its March Students of the Month last week. Each student winner was nominated by a teacher or staff member for various categories such as Academics, Citizenship and Most Improved. Congratulations!

The next Board of Education meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, April 23 at 7:00 p.m. in the Genet Elementary School auditorium. The public may attend the meeting in person or watch the live stream at www.egcsd.org.
Columbia High School students in the HVCC Personal Finance and Accounting classes participated in a Junior Achievement Stock Market Challenge on March 27 at the UAlbany Broadview Center. The event allowed students to experience a simulated stock market in a fast-paced environment.
Columbia High School students brought the community together to celebrate culture and history at its annual Multicultural and Tolerance Fair on April 11 in the school gymnasium. Students created displays with poster boards, artifacts and food to highlight their own cultures such as Irish, Indian, Japanese, Pashtun and Puerto Rican.
