Two dozen Columbia High School student athletes made their college commitments at a press conference on Thursday afternoon in the school’s auditorium.
District residents will vote on the proposed school budget for 2019-20 on Tuesday, May 21 from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. The proposed budget, which maintains all current programs and services, totals $95,925,684, an increase of 1.76% from last year.
Columbia High School’s Class of 2022 is selling shirts to promote positivity, acceptance, compassion and tolerance throughout the district. The shirt design contains three simple mathematical symbols which translate into the meaningful sentence “Equality is greater than Division.”
