Columbia Athletics has made schedule changes for some of this weekend’s games so that students, families and coaches may attend services in memory of Pasquale Tirino.
Columbia High School staff, students and families raised a record $13,191 for ovarian cancer awareness and support programs through their participation in the 18th annual Teal Ribbon Run on Sunday morning at Washington Park in Albany.

East Greenbush Central School District’s 2019-20 Calendar was posted online earlier today. It includes important events throughout the upcoming school year, such as open houses, parent-teacher conferences, musical concerts and Board of Education meetings. It also indicates when school is closed.
Columbia Athletics will be hosting a Welcome Back Chicken BBQ on Monday, August 26 from 4-7 p.m. at the high school prior to Meet the Coaches Night for fall sports. Each dinner costs $12 ($10 per meal when ordering 4 or more meals) and includes a ½ chicken, baked potato with butter and sour cream, coleslaw, a dinner roll, dessert and a beverage.
Phase 1 of East Greenbush Central School District’s Capital Project has begun this summer, which includes health and safety upgrades such as replacements of the public address system, security card access controls, surveillance cameras and new Cisco phone systems.
