All schools will be closed from Friday, May 24 through Tuesday, May 28 in observance of Memorial Day and the district’s two remaining unused snow days. Schools will re-open on Wednesday, May 29.
East Greenbush Central School District residents passed a $95.9 million budget for the 2019-20 school year on Tuesday, as well as the bus purchase proposition that will replace eight school buses out of the Bus Purchase Reserve Fund.

District residents will vote on the proposed school budget for 2019-20 on Tuesday, May 21 from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. The proposed budget, which maintains all current programs and services, totals $95,925,684, an increase of 1.76% from last year.
Columbia High School’s Class of 2022 is selling shirts to promote positivity, acceptance, compassion and tolerance throughout the district. The shirt design contains three simple mathematical symbols which translate into the meaningful sentence “Equality is greater than Division.”
East Greenbush Central School District has published an updated District Map following the Board of Education’s approval of a rezoning plan for Bell Top, Citizen Genet and Red Mill Elementary Schools. The map shows the school district’s boundaries as well as each of the elementary school attendance zones.
