More than two dozen staff members who are retiring from the East Greenbush Central School District this year were recognized for their service at Wednesday’s Board of Education meeting in the Genet Elementary School auditorium. Congratulations and best wishes!
District residents will vote on the proposed school budget for 2019-20 on Tuesday, May 21 from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. The proposed budget, which maintains all current programs and services, totals $95,925,684, an increase of 1.76% from last year.
East Greenbush Central School District has published an updated District Map following the Board of Education’s approval of a rezoning plan for Bell Top, Citizen Genet and Red Mill Elementary Schools. The map shows the school district’s boundaries as well as each of the elementary school attendance zones.
Parents of resident students in need of special transportation arrangements, such as private and parochial school transportation or transportation between school and a daycare center or placement, for the school year starting in September 2019, should request this transportation in writing by no later than April 1, 2019.
East Greenbush Central School District is hosting its 29th annual WinterFest the weekend of January 18-20. There will be food, crafts, activities, bounce houses and fun for the whole family!
