Mandatory Graduation Rehearsal is scheduled for Thursday, June 27 at 10 a.m. in the CHS Auditorium. The Senior Luncheon will start at 12 p.m. following the graduation rehearsal.

Locker Clean Out – Posted June 12, 2019
Students should clean out their lockers on Friday, 6/14 and Monday, 6/17. Lockers will be locked down and inaccessible after 2:00 p.m. on Monday.
Senior Prom Parking Information – Posted May 31, 2019
There is garage parking at the Albany Capital Center for 100 cars. This parking is free. It is located at 7 Wendell St. Once that lot fills up, the Times Union Center Garage will be open. It will cost $5.00 per car to park in that garage. The entrance to the TUC garage is located right at the bottom of Wendell Street and its address is 100 Beaver St. You should park on level 3 or 5 where you can access the fully enclosed walkway to the Albany Capital Center.
Graduation Ceremony Information – Posted May 8, 2019
Columbia’s Class of 2019 Graduation Ceremony will be held Saturday, June 29 at 1:00 p.m. (students must be in meeting rooms by 11:30 a.m.) in the McDonough Sports Complex at Hudson Valley Community College. More information.

Columbia High School’s Senior Prom for the Class of 2019 is scheduled for Friday, May 31 at the Albany Capital Center. Tickets are $65 per person and will be on sale Monday, May 6 – Friday, May 10. More information.

Candyland Snoball Dance – Posted January 28, 2019
This years’ Snoball Dance will be held on Saturday, February 2 from 7-10 p.m. Tickets will be on sale for $10.00 each on Wednesday, January 30 through Friday, February 1, periods 3-8 outside of the cafeteria. If you are bringing an out of district guest to the dance, don’t forget to complete your paperwork with your Assistant Principal. Bring the completed paperwork with you to submit when you purchase your guest’s ticket. Completed dance guest permission slips are due to your Assistant Principal’s Office by Wednesday, January 30. Please remember to bring your student ID to the dance.

Driver Education Registration Opens January 3 – Posted January 2, 2019
Registration for the Spring 2019 Driver Education class at Columbia High School will open on Thursday, January 3. In order to register, students must submit a registration form and the class fee to the drop-off box in the Columbia High School Main Office. More information.

Columbia’s Freshman Class is sponsoring a bus trip to New York City on Saturday, April 6, 2019 that includes the option to see the Broadway performance of Harper Lee’s Pulitzer Prize novel “To Kill a Mockingbird” starring Jeff Jeff Daniels. The trip is open to students, families, staff and friends in the East Greenbush school community. More information.
