It was a sea of purple on Friday at Green Meadow Elementary School as students and staff supported epilepsy awareness by celebrating Purple Day, an international grassroots effort to educate others about the condition that causes recurrent seizures.
Student Council members read facts about epilepsy to the school on GMTV and then discussed Purple Day at the Character Education assembly later that day.
