Red Mill Elementary School’s cafeteria was filled with families to celebrate the fifth grade class at their Moving Up Ceremony on Wednesday morning. Students sat on risers in front of the stage as Superintendent Dr. Angela Nagle and Principal John Caporta congratulated them.
“Today is a very special day and we are all very proud of you,” Dr. Nagle said. “I know that you’re going to have a bright future.”
Teachers Tim Huneck, Sarah Strock, Ken Bailey and Paula Sobol distributed certificates to each of their students on stage.
“The 2016 graduating fifth grade class from Red Mill has been an amazing group,” Mr. Caporta said. “I am very proud of the many contributions they have made to our school. Their outstanding attitudes, caring character, and academic success will make this class an excellent addition to Goff Middle School next fall.”
