Food for Families Program

The East Greenbush CSD operates a Food for Families Program that provides FREE FOOD to families in need. Boxes of food are packed regularly with a variety of grocery items and then distributed in a confidential process. If your family is in need of some extra support with food, please reach out to Audra Di Bacco at 518-207-2028 or dibaccau@egcsd.org. We also accept food donations to help supply this program. If you would like to donate, please contact Audra Di Bacco.

Abby LussierAt just six years old, Green Meadow kindergarten student Abby Lussier has a good head on her shoulders. She recently had eight inches of her hair cut off so she could donate it to Pantene Beautiful Lengths where it will be made into a wig for women battling cancer.

Lussier’s parents, Sarah and Bryan who both teach at Bell Top Elementary School, asked Abby why she decided to donate her hair. Abby responded “I just want to help other people, Mom.”

“We are so proud of her efforts to be a bright spot in the lives of the many people impacted by cancer,” said Mrs. Lussier.
