Columbia Athletics raised more than $5,300 for ovarian cancer research at the 15th annual Teal Ribbon Run on Sunday in Albany. A record 435 people from the community joined the Columbia Athletics/Team Betty Signorelli Team for the charity run/walk in Washington Park.
Proceeds will be donated to Caring Together, Inc., which seeks to raise awareness of ovarian cancer and raise funds in support of research.
“It was a great day!” said Columbia Athletic Director Michael Leonard. “I am very proud of everyone who came out and supported such a great cause at this fun event.”
