Say! Kindergarten students like green eggs and ham! They do! They like them, Sam-I-am!

That was the result of a fun classroom activity for Bell Top kindergarten students this week. They watched an interactive reading of Green Eggs and Ham on the smart board and then ate a delicious breakfast true to the Dr. Seuss book. Volunteer parents served up the green eggs and ham, grapes, melon and green juice to the delight of students.

After breakfast, students sat in a circle and told the group whether they liked or did not like green eggs and ham. Then they graphed the results. They also worked on literacy skills by creating rhymes like the ones from the book.
