Columbia placed 3rd out of 40 high school teams at the 30th annual Siena College High School Computer Programming Contest on Friday. The team was comprised of Brian Davis ’18, Aviraj Mukherjee ’18 and Connor Roizman ’18.
They solved five of the seven problems, which mostly covered number theory. The questions were created by the Computer Science Department at Siena College.
“The competition was strong and our team performed very well,” said Columbia math teacher Jessica Hladik.
