Columbia student Kristin Nadareski ’18 received a Merit Award and an Outstanding Achievement Award at the 15th annual Society of Women Engineers awards ceremony on April 27 in Albany.
The SWE honors women who have shown great achievement and dedication to STEM programs.
Ms. Nadareski is one of eight nominated students from the Capital Region to win both awards. She received a monetary prize from GlobalFoundries for the Outstanding Achievement Award, which will be put toward college applications and visits.
