Children’s book author and illustrator Daniel Miyares visited Red Mill Elementary School last week. He gave two hour-long talks in the school library, even showing students how to draw animals from simple shapes.
Students prepared for the visit by reading some of his books, including Bring Me a Rock, Float, and Pardon Me!.
Mr. Miyares concluded each session by signing books for students and including small drawings next to each autograph.
