Food for Families Program

The East Greenbush CSD operates a Food for Families Program that provides FREE FOOD to families in need. Boxes of food are packed regularly with a variety of grocery items and then distributed in a confidential process. If your family is in need of some extra support with food, please reach out to Audra Di Bacco at 518-207-2028 or dibaccau@egcsd.org. We also accept food donations to help supply this program. Miraj Patel and Kayla Scott were recently recognized as Columbia’s 2017 Outstanding Business Education Students. They received this honor, not only for their academic achievement, but also for their outstanding citizenship and positive attitude.

Mr. Patel has taken Accounting, Microsoft Office, and Business Technical Math. Ms. Scott has taken Marketing, Microsoft Word Essentials, Microsoft Office, and Business Technical Math.

The students received their awards at the Business and Marketing Educators’ Association of the Capital District in Colonie earlier this month where 17 area high schools recognized their outstanding business students.

Business teacher Donna Shepardson also received an award at the event. She was named Business Teacher of the Year for her contributions, dedication, and commitment to Business Education.
