John Bouzy and Mrs. Tacy
DPS fifth grader John Bouzy and school nurse Sarah Tacy have teamed up to raise money for the American Diabetes Association by riding in the Tour de Cure on Sunday, June 4 in Saratoga Springs. The 10-mile event goes through Saratoga Spa State Park.
Bouzy, who has type 1 diabetes, has participated in this charity bike ride the past two years. Mrs. Tacy joined his team last year and will ride in the event again this year.
“I’m so proud of John and happy to ride with him for the Tour de Cure in support of diabetes research,” Mrs. Tacy said.
