COVID-19 Updates and Information

Grades 3-5 will return for full time in-person learning starting Monday, April 26, which will fully reopen all elementary schools. The K-12 Full Remote program will still be available to families who choose that option. Due to state regulations, Columbia and Goff will remain in the Hybrid Model at this time. The East Greenbush CSD will continue to evaluate options for Columbia and Goff students to receive increased in-person learning at 6 feet social distancing where possible.

5th Grade Mixer

Fifth graders from around the school district gathered for a mixer at the Schodack Landing State Park (photo courtesy Ray Diaz).

As fifth graders from around the district prepare to leave elementary school, they had an opportunity to meet their future classmates for a mixer on Tuesday at the Schodack Landing State Park in Castelton. They played lawn games, puzzle activities and enjoyed an ice cream social while getting to know each other.

The event, which was sponsored by the East Greenbush Education Foundation, was made possible through a generous donation by former school board member and Education Foundation member Stewart Wagner.

Special thanks to our fifth grade teachers, parent volunteers and the Education Foundation Board members who assisted with the event.
