Columbia High School students spread some joy to a deserving group of people on Wednesday as the Chamber Orchestra played a concert for veterans in the lobby of the Albany Stratton VA Medical Center. The orchestra, under the direction of music teacher Susan Chrzan, played a variety of different musical styles including classical, folk and bluegrass.

“We’re here today to honor you and thank you for your service,” Mrs. Chrzan told the audience. “We hope you enjoy the show.”

Throughout the concert, veterans and the medical staff stopped to listen to the music. A few veterans even approached the orchestra and thanked them for the music.

Bravo, students! Bravo!
