Kindergarten Returns Full Time Starting March 1

The Board of Education has approved two changes to the instructional model: 1) Kindergarten students will resume five days a week of in-person learning starting on Monday, March 1. The Full Remote Program is still available to families. 2) Live Virtual Wednesdays will be eliminated for students in grades 1-5 starting March 10 to provide one additional in-person school day every other week. March 10 will be an in-person school day for B Day students and A Day students will have a remote day. The schedule will alternate going forward.

Driver Education signageRegistration for the Spring 2018 Driver Education class at Columbia High School will open on Thursday, January 4. In order to register, students must submit a registration form and the class fee to the drop-off box in the Columbia High School Main Office. The class fee costs $440 ($480 for out-of-district students).

Driver Education includes two parts:

  • 24 hours of classroom instruction provided by either Mr. Wysocki or Mr. Graham
  • 24 hours of hands-on driving presented by Bell’s Driving School

Classes begin the week of January 29 and conclude the week of June 11. Registration is done on a first come, first served basis. There are 56 available spots for the spring class.
