Capital Project

The East Greenbush CSD has proposed a $116 million capital project that, if approved by voters, would improve facilities and grounds at all seven schools at no additional cost to the local taxpayer. The proposed capital project will be a proposition on the School Budget Vote and Board Election ballot scheduled for Tuesday, May 21, 2024.

Schools Closing Early – Thursday, January 4

East Greenbush Central School District is closing early on Thursday, January 4 due to the weather. Schools will be dismissed at the following times and students will be dropped off at their early dismissal locations unless they are picked up from school by their parents.

Columbia: 11:03 a.m.
Goff: 11:40 a.m.
Genet: 12:10 p.m.
Bell Top: 12:30 p.m.
DPS: 12:30 p.m.
Green Meadow: 12:30 p.m.
Red Mill: 12:30 p.m.

Greenbush Child Caring will be closed in the afternoon.

Columbia High School’s Alumni Day has been rescheduled to Friday, January 5 at the same time and location. Our alumni should arrive at 11:45 a.m. on Friday morning.
