Capital Project

The East Greenbush CSD has proposed a $116 million capital project that, if approved by voters, would improve facilities and grounds at all seven schools at no additional cost to the local taxpayer. The proposed capital project will be a proposition on the School Budget Vote and Board Election ballot scheduled for Tuesday, May 21, 2024.

Boil Water Advisory Lifted at Bell Top

The boil water advisory in North Greenbush has been lifted by the Rensselaer County Department of Health. Bell Top will continue using bottled water for the day and then open drinking fountains on Wednesday.

8:55 a.m.

A boil water advisory has been issued for the Town of North Greenbush which affects Bell Top Elementary School. The school is taking the following precautions:

  • Bottled water will be provided to students and staff.
  • Maintenance staff has taken all drinking fountains out of service and covered them with plastic bags.
  • Cafeteria staff will follow boil water advisory guidelines for food preparation.

A message will be posted on the district website once the boil water advisory is lifted.
