Genet presents check to Make-a-Wish

Student Council President Jabari Holder presents a check to Kirsten Broschinsky and James Giordano from Make-a-Wish Northeast New York.

Genet Student Council donated $313 to Make-a-Wish Northeast New York at morning program on Friday to help the charity grant wishes to critically ill children.

A check was presented to Make-a-Wish Annual Fund Manager Kirsten Broschinsky and Make-a-Wish Board of Trustee James Giordano, who is also on the East Greenbush Central School District Board of Education.

“I’m so impressed. This is a lot of money,” Ms. Broschinsky told the students. “You guys are basically the genie from Aladdin because you’re making wishes come true.”

Thank you to everyone in the Genet school community who donated to this worthy cause!
