Capital Project

The East Greenbush CSD has proposed a $116 million capital project that, if approved by voters, would improve facilities and grounds at all seven schools at no additional cost to the local taxpayer. The proposed capital project will be a proposition on the School Budget Vote and Board Election ballot scheduled for Tuesday, May 21, 2024.

Power Restored Across District, All Schools Open on Friday

Power has been restored across East Greenbush Central School District meaning all schools will be open Friday, March 9.

Because of Columbia’s emergency closings on Thursday, March 8 (power outage) and Monday, February 5 (ruptured water pipe), Columbia will be in session on Friday, May 25 and students will be dismissed that day at 10:03 a.m.

All other schools in the district will have no school on May 25, unless another emergency closing is needed.
