Registration is now open for the 6th annual Barrett Memorial Run which will take place on Saturday, October 20 at Columbia High School.
The race is open to K-12 students and will begin at 9:15 a.m.
The event honors the late Dennis Barrett who taught social studies and coached cross country at Columbia High School. Proceeds from the event support the Barrett Memorial Scholarship which is given to two graduating seniors on the Columbia Cross Country team.
The event is sponsored by the Columbia Cross Country program and the East Greenbush Education Foundation.
