School psychologists

East Greenbush CSD School Psychologists (L to R): Bonnie Hagglove, Jennifer Sorensen, Maureen Singer, Bennett Kelvin, Sue Rys, Jamie Duesler and Debbie Gonyea.

East Greenbush Central School District celebrated School Psychology Awareness Week earlier this month. This vital service, which addresses the mental health of students, is provided by seven talented and dedicated staff members.

The duties of our school psychologists vary widely. They perform assessment, counseling, instructional and therapeutic interventions; perform staff and parent consultations; identify learning disabilities and interventions to support challenges that students encounter; and assist students and families in crisis by assisting the student and family with finding helpful resources in the community.

Thank you to our school psychologists!
