Capital Project

The East Greenbush CSD has proposed a $116 million capital project that, if approved by voters, would improve facilities and grounds at all seven schools at no additional cost to the local taxpayer. Genet Elementary School signDear Parents and Guardians,

Many thanks to all of you who joined us at last evening’s Winter Concert! What a wonderful evening it was! Many congratulations to our fourth and fifth grade students on their exceptional vocal and musical performances. Such talented young people! Thanks, too, to our musical maestros, Mrs. Megan Scolaro and Mr. Robert Halek, for the expert direction of the Choruses, Orchestra, and Band. It’s always so amazing to hear our students perform on instruments they’ve only had since September!

As I sat in the audience soaking in all the specialness of this concert I thought to myself that it was truly one of our very best. As many of you may already be aware, I will be retiring at the end of this school year. In the years ahead I think one of my fondest memories will be thinking back on this concert.

Thank you for supporting our children and their musical interests! What will ever surpass 156 fourth and fifth graders singing “What the World Needs Now Is Love?” A night to remember!

Best regards,

Ana Yeomans
