Food for Families Program

The East Greenbush CSD operates a Food for Families Program that provides FREE FOOD to families in need. Boxes of food are packed regularly with a variety of grocery items and then distributed in a confidential process. If your family is in need of some extra support with food, please reach out to Audra Di Bacco at 518-207-2028 or We also accept food donations to help supply this program. Fourth and fifth grade students from Red Mill Elementary School went caroling through the halls of Evergreen Commons Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in East Greenbush on Thursday. It was one of the many activities that students from different grade levels at Red Mill participated in to give back to the community this holiday season.

“The kids did a fantastic job bringing holiday cheer to the residents!” said 5th Grade Teacher Brittany Harrison.

Red Mill students and staff also collected a variety of items such as socks, donations for local food pantries, donations for Peppertree Dog Rescue and a coin drop for the Bus Stop organization.
