Fourth and fifth grade students from Red Mill Elementary School went caroling through the halls of Evergreen Commons Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in East Greenbush on Thursday. It was one of the many activities that students from different grade levels at Red Mill participated in to give back to the community this holiday season.
“The kids did a fantastic job bringing holiday cheer to the residents!” said 5th Grade Teacher Brittany Harrison.
Red Mill students and staff also collected a variety of items such as socks, donations for local food pantries, donations for Peppertree Dog Rescue and a coin drop for the Bus Stop organization.
