Bell Top began the second year of its Create and Discover after school program on Wednesday afternoon, offering a selection of six free classes to 3rd, 4th and 5th graders.
Current classes include:
- Arts and Crafts
- Coding with Ozobots and Mousebots
- Legos Club
- Scrapbooking
- Yoga
- Zen Doodling
Create and Discover was created last spring to offer free classes for students to explore different subjects in a less structured environment with their friends. Interest in the program has grown as student participation has more than tripled from year one.
“It’s great to see the excitement on the students’ faces as they enter the room,” said Principal Martin Mahar, who teaches the Legos class. “Their enthusiasm during the activities is contagious.”
