Kindergarten Returns Full Time Starting March 1

The Board of Education has approved two changes to the instructional model: 1) Kindergarten students will resume five days a week of in-person learning starting on Monday, March 1. The Full Remote Program is still available to families. 2) Live Virtual Wednesdays will be eliminated for students in grades 1-5 starting March 10 to provide one additional in-person school day every other week. March 10 will be an in-person school day for B Day students and A Day students will have a remote day. The schedule will alternate going forward.

Students play with Play-Doh at after school enrichmentWith the school day over, Green Meadow students pack up their bags and, instead of heading home, go to one more class as part of the after school enrichment program. The classes, which were offered on Mondays and Wednesdays earlier this month, give students an opportunity to learn more about a given subject, express their creativity and make new friends.

More than 130 students participated in the following classes:

  • Beads and Fun
  • Books and Crafts
  • Chess
  • Cupcake Decorating
  • Fuse Beads
  • Kindness Rocks
  • Legos
  • Play-Doh
  • STEM
  • Unicorns, Rainbows and Cats
  • Zen Doodling

“It is wonderful to see our students enjoying these educational and fun classes,” said Green Meadow Principal Daniel Garab. “I am grateful to our PTO, parents and staff members who generously volunteer their time to provide these great after school activities for our kids.”
