Each year the East Greenbush Education Foundation sponsors an Annual Spring Gala Banquet to raise funds for its educational enrichment programs, with all profits benefiting the Foundation Enrichment Grant Program for Students. This function is a popular social event as well, with the Alumni Hall of Fame awards serving as the highlight of the evening. Entertainment is provided by student performance groups, and there is a Silent Raffle with great prizes.
School staff and parents are invited to the Gala, which is scheduled for Friday, April 12 at 6:00 p.m. at the Hilton Garden Inn in Troy, N.Y.
The following alumni will be inducted into the Columbia High School Hall of Fame at this event.
- Paul Bigness, Class of 1995
- Tim Nickels, Class of 1974
- Erin Mensing-Tarbox, Class of 1999
In addition to honoring outstanding graduates from Columbia High School, the Education Foundation will be recognizing Mark Mann with the Community Member Award.
